El Chilar School

This is El Chilar School before we will be painting, putting in screens and putting in a fence.

Project School Supplies has already supplied books, toys, blackboards, teaching supplies and set up a meal program for the kindergarten.

Giovanni Ramirez Ochoa is 11 years old. He likes to eat chicken, mangos and apples. He doesn’t like vegetables. He has breakfast around 7am which may consist of coffee. In ideal world he would have chicken, rice and soda.

He has lunch around noon which consists of tortillas. In ideal world he would have chicken, cheese, beans and soda. He has dinner at 4pm which may consist of beans. He would like fruit, chicken and beans.

Giovanni is Chorti Maya and lives in El Chilar where he goes to school.

Giovanni is smaller than the other kid and it’s very difficult to believe he is eleven. He didn’t have school uniform and his rubber galoshes had lots of holes.
